Irrigation Pressure & Flow Test Kit

The Sunshower Pressure & Flow Test Kit allows you to take readings on what the exact pressure and flow availble on site are.

The Pressure & Flow Test Kit will provide you with the following information:

• Static Pressure
• Maximum Flow Rate
• Flow Rates at  set pressure points

See below steps to test your pressure & flow:

1. Connect Test Kit to the garden tap/water source you wish to run your irrigation system from.
2. Shut the gate valve completely on the test kit.
3. Turn the tap on so it is fully open.
4. Take a reading of your systems “static pressure” by having a look at the pressure gauge on your kit
5. Open the gate valve until your pressure gauge reads 200kpa
   • Fill a 9 litre bucket and time how long it takes to fill. Take a reading
6. Open the gate valve until your pressure gauge reads 300kpa
   • Fill a 9 litre bucket and time how long it takes to fill. Take a reading
7. From here you can take more flow tests at different pressures until you are satisfied with the information to properly design your system.
