Got Bears? Deer feeders are a prime target for bears coming out of hibernation and in areas where their natural food sources are scarce. Like a 500 pound raccoon, they will dismantle or destroy anything in their way to get at food.
Through vigorous field tests and customer feedback, Orion learned to limit or eliminate a bear’s chance of success of disabling a feeder by securing it firmly to the ground. Here enters the MAX Anchor Kit for Orion Deer Feeders. Combine Orion’s robust, 16ga steel deer feeder with four Pound-N-Pull Earth anchors with a pull out force of 800 LB per corner and bears don’t stand a chance at disrupting, destroying or disabling your feeder.
