These quality Rainbird Pressure Reducing filters are the perfect all-in-one with the 2 most important requirements of drip irrigation met in a single valve.
- Filtration: keeps out all the grit and dirt that can block up drip tube and fittings
- Pressure Reduction: regulates the pressure in the irrigation system so the drip tube operates evenly and effectively.
- Pressure Regulating Filter Cap has sealing o-ring and unscrews to provide access to the filter element for easy cleaning.
- Max Inlet Pressure: 150 PSI
- Output Pressure: 30 PSI (20mm) 40 PSI (25mm)
- Filter Screen: 200 Mesh
Pressure reduction is vitally important for drip irrigation systems. Without a pressure reducer on your line, fittings will blow out, drippers will not flow evenly and the drip tube will not be able to distribute the water efficiently
Note: When installing with emission points more than 5 ft. above the pressure regulating filter, a check valve should be installed after the regulator.Note: Filter must be installed downstream of a control valve and not under constant pressure.
This Pressure Reducer is not rated for mains pressure and must be installed after a Solenoid Valve or Tap Timer. Only Brass Pressure Reducing Valves can withstand mains pressure.
