Is this the right tool for your job?
✓CHOOSE THIS WHEN
- The documented job is “Keep an RVT® System Running with Replacement Parts — The Complete Guide”.
- Durable Construction : Built to withstand the rigors of regular use, this mount is a reliable choice for professional painters and DIY enthusiasts alike.
- The QuickReach® Replacement Mount, designed for seamless integration with RVT®-compatible QuickReach® poles.
- Key Features: Quick Connect System : Features a quick connect design, making it effortless to attach or detach from QuickReach poles, saving time and enhancing work efficiency.
✕CHOOSE A DIFFERENT TOOL WHEN
- Not a universal spray-pole mount: the fitment is the claim list — three QuickReach poles and the RVT System — and nothing else, no matter how similar another pole looks.
- Not the shelf’s valve or filter: fluid-path internals are the 28715’s and 28740’s territory (with their own fitment boundaries).
- Not one half of a documented mount pair: the functional split between this part and the 28720 is unwritten , and any copy that assigns them ends of the system is inventing.
- And not a fix for a gummed mechanism: cured paint costs nothing but solvent and patience — replace wear, not neglect.

How the pros run it
01
Wipe the mount at washout, every day
The mount lives directly under the head end’s drip field, and cured paint in a quick-connect mechanism converts “effortless” into pry-and-swear, then into false wear. Thirty seconds with the washout rag is the whole preventive program.
02
Diagnose with the gun out
Slop checks and lever-feel checks read cleanest bare: work the mechanism empty, then with the gun seated, system dead both times. Ambiguity in the lock is failure — a mount that “mostly” locks a gun is done.
03
Swap on the bench, not the wall
Pole collapsed, laid level, at working height. A mount swap is small mechanics; small mechanics done overhead on an extended pole are how parts and patience get lost.
04
Commission deliberately
After installation: dry cycles of the quick connect first, gun seating and release next, then the locked-trigger pressurization test of section 2 before the first working pass.
05
Keep the fleet logic
One spare of this SKU covers all three poles by claim — for a crew, that is the difference between a stocked drawer and a down day. (Availability of anything is the store’s live layer, never this page’s.)
