✓CHOOSE THIS WHEN
- The documented job is “Clean, Store, and Reuse Roller Covers”.
- Ultra-Thin Microfiber Blend: Constructed from a dense matrix of microscopic fibers that hold up to three times more paint than a standard roller cover.
- Flawless, Spray-Like Finish: Automatically levels and distributes paint with virtually zero stipple, yielding a mirror-smooth look.
- Maximum Shed Resistance: Tightly locked, premium synthetic filaments prevent lint and loose fibers from shedding into wet paint.
✕CHOOSE A DIFFERENT TOOL WHEN
- Long open cabinet-door runs — capacity and a smooth roll there belong to the jumbo (47313); the conventional core is a smaller tank.
- Walls and ceilings — a 1/4″ nap skips wall texture; use 3/8″ (47319) or a 9″.
- Texture and masonry — microfiber tears on rough surface.
- And a ten-pack is far too many covers for any single-room job — that’s the 2-pack (47314) or 4-pack (47315).
- Buying production quantities for a one-off is just inventory you’ll store half-used.

How the pros run it

The gloss rules are the single cover’s, unchanged
thin coats, light pressure (microfiber floods under weight — Hyde’s caveat), don’t overwork setting enamel, sand lightly between coats, pre-dampen for waterborne, load full and quiet. The production rule the ten-pack adds is a decision rather than a stroke: wash or spend, deliberately. Decide per job whether a cover is a keeper (wash it to clear, stand it on end to dry) or a spend (roll it out and retire it), and don’t let a fouled cover reach a finish coat because someone was saving it. The whole value of a 1/4″ microfiber — the flat, stipple-free film — is lost the moment a tired nap touches the coat that shows.
